Pensacola Deep Sea Bait

Today was a very diverse trip! Today I was joined by a great local Family for a 6 hour trip. Jeff, Carrie, Lydia and Jonas loaded up at 0630 and we shot towards the Pass. We made a quick run down to the East to fish some live bottom. The bite seemed alot slower today than it has been but we managed to catch some Snapper fairly quickly and a few White Snappers as well. The winds began blowing alot earlier than predicted so we were run out of the Gulf much sooner than I had hoped!

My crew not phased at all, we headed for the Pass and quickly began some Sharking! We managed to boat 5–6 small sharks and one awesome Bull Red before we decided to hit a few Bay Snapper spots! We did catch a few Snapper that were really close to being legal but never found anything worth the effort!

It was a pleasure having a crew today that was willing to adapt to the changing conditions and still have a great day! Thanks again Guys for your business today and good luck in your new adventure!! Hope to see you again next year!

Pensacola Beach Red Snapper Charters

Man does it feel good to be back on the water! After 4 days of relentless rains, I finally made it back on the water today. I was really afraid of how the bite would be with all the fresh water invading our bays. We focused primarily on deeper areas in the bay hoping that we would find the saltier water holding deeper.

The plan seemed to work, we caught our limit of Snapper and a few nice Flounder as a bonus today and broke off some Monster Snapper that just didn’t wanna seem to turn. The only bad thing I noticed was that it seems like the catfish have really been pushed down out of the upper bays and are covering almost every piece of deep structure.

Thanks again to my crew from today for braving the elements with me!

Pensacola Beach

morning we headed for the Pass! We started catching fish almost as soon as we got there! Seems like the large schools of fish are holding in different parts of the Pass on each day!

One day it’ll be on the Northern end and some days, like today. They were stacked up on the far South! Today was alot of fun with another great crew! Thank you again to Mike and Stacey and I really hope to have another chance to fish with you Guys!

Pensacola Beach Fishing Charters

redfish were back to doing their thing and doing it in a big way!

We caught several fish around the 15lb mark and even had 2 or 3 over the 20lb range!! After taking our beatings from the Bulls we made a move back into the Bay and caught a few really nice BayRed Snapper and one stud Flounder! It was a really weird bite. I couldn’t buy a bite on the traditional bay baits baits, but it seemed like the little baby Pinfish were the ticket today!

South Again Charters

Another fun day in Pensacola! Today I was joined by Collin and his two awesome Sons…. John Collin and Owen! We planned a 4hour trip and blasted off for the Pass at 0630.

We found the Redfish bite as hot as its been all Spring!! It seemed like every drift would equal a really solid bite! We caught probably 10 or more Bulls and one Slot fish in a pretty short amount of time!! It was a great time to watch the Boys battle those bruiser fish on medium tackle!! This is the 2nd years this family from Tennessee has fished with me and I want to say Thank You for coming back to fish with me and I look forward to seeing you Guys next year!

Perdido Key Red Snapper Charters

Red Snapper trip! Hallie, Carol and Deb met me at Shoreline at 0630 and away we went!

We made our short 6 mile run into the Gulf and like it was scripted everything went according to plan! We caught a ton of Snapper and lost some really really fine ones as well! Around 0900 after catching our Snapper we made a long move to the East to a spot that has been really good so far this year for White Snapper and Triggers. We two hooked for about an hour or so and caught a ton of Whites, but only managed one keeper trigger! We caught maybe a half dozen or so that were just a little bit to short! We even caught a 3lb Flounder on a two hook rig

Today was an amazing day on the water with some amazing Women! Thanks again Ladies for fishing with me today! I really hope to have more days like these with you in the Future! Even if you Gals made me blush a few times……..

Pensacola Red Snapper Charters

Man what a day!!!! Today was the Fishin Chix Pink Rubber Boots tournament out of Pensacola Beach! I was hired to take the Brentwood Girls and we had a blast!!! Dawna, Robin, Jessica and Josie joined me for a awesome day!

We started out in the Pass looking for a few slot Reds but found only Giant Bulls! After catching 8-10 Bulls we decided to head offshore and try for a few large Snapper! We our 4 person limit in no time with a pretty good average size and decided to switch gears and try to get us a King. With a KIng a Spanish and 8 Snapper in the box we ran out of time and headed for the scales.

We were surprised once the weigh in was over with 1st Place Spanish and 3rd Place KIng Mackerel~!! I really wish I could’ve made all my Fishin Chix winners today, but we a great time fishing together and I couldn’t have enjoyed the trip more!
