South Again Charters / 17 March 2013
I hate to speak to soon, but I think the Sheepshead spawn has finally kicked off! Today the Sandfort Family and I planned a 6 hour trip together. First thing this morning we quickly got into a great Sheepshead bite. We quickly boated 15 or so and a bonus Black Drum and a pompano.
I had high hopes for putting them on a few Bull Reds but the fish must not of gotten the memo. We tried really hard for a while to catch reds but after a while decided to go back to the Sheepshead.
Another great Spring trip here in Pensacola with a wonderful Family! Thank you Guys for your business today, I really enjoyed your company and hope to see you again real soon!

Pensacola Inshore Fishing / 16 March 2013
Spring time is here! Today me and they Guys headed out for a quick 4 hour trip! We started out trying fish Sheepshead but all the regular spots were not doing to well so we switched in to Red Fish mode.
We landed around 15-20 Bull reds and even managed to find 3 slot fish! After playing with the Reds for a while we quickly hit a few other spots and managed to catch a really nice pompano and one Sheepshead.
Not what I had planned this morning when I launched the boat but still a great trip!

South Again Charter / 15 March 2013
Finally some great weather! Today I was joined by the Smith Family on a 6 hour trip. We started out targeting dinner and found that the Sheepshead were in the mood to bite. We caught a few here and a few there, never found one place that was just on fire. But we still managed to put a nice box of fish together in about 2 hours.
With dinner taken care of we went into my favorite mode....Bull Reds! The Bull Reds did not disappoint today. We hooked probably 20+ Redfish today and most all of them were 1/4" - 1/2" over size. The bite was awesome and it was even more awesome watching my crew get worked on light tackle!
The water does appear to be cleaning up just a little in the Pass and a little into the Gulf but the main bays are still very very dirty! Looks to be a great weekend on the water!

I sure hope this weather breaks soon! Headed out to the PAss this morning and found a really slow bite. After bouncing around for about 45 minutes we managed to find a great sheepshead bite on a small Snapper spot back to the East! We were able to catch and release 10 - 12 fish fairly quickly! My group today were awesome enough to let me keep a few to take home! Looks like the fish have finally started to make their way towards the Pass and the bite should improve daily from here!
As long as the weather will lay down, this looks to be an awesome weekend on the water!

Pensacola Inshore Guide | 27 Feb 2013 Report
Rains are gone and the fish are still biting! Today we managed to have a great day of catching! My normal spots were not producing so we had to pull out some old tricks, but it seemed like once we located the fish they were ready to eat! We managed to catch 12-15 Redfish today with a fun mix of over slot. slot and small fish. We also caught Black Drum, Sheepshead and a ton of Red Snapper!
Not to bad for fishing in February!

24 Feb 2013 | Perdido Key Inshore Fishing
The rains are finally gone and the fish are cooperating. A couple days of heavy rain has left the Bay and the Pass very dirty looking. With alot of extra water leaving the bay the tides are a little stroner, but the fish seem to be adapting just fine!
We managed to catch a handful of really nice Black Drum today as well as 3 huge Bull Reds! To top it of we caught a nice sheepshead and a ton of Red Snapper! Once the dirty water moves out I'd say be ready for the Sheepshead spawn to go into full swing!!
