Another amazing day on the water today with one of the liveliest groups I have fished with in a while!! These Kids had me in stitches all day, when were hauling a fish over the gunwales today we were splitting our sides laughing!

We stayed in the Bay today and had to grind to box of fish together but I feel really good about our outcome! Thank you soo much for fishing with me today Guys and I really look forward to fishing with you again really soon!!

Navarre Beach Red Snapper / South Again Charters / 11 October 2013

Good afternoon,

Finally made it in the Gulf today and the bite was pretty dang good. We quickly limited on Snapper and moved on to other things. Caught a few short Jacks and busted off a few what I am hoping were Grouper...

Switched gears and went into meat mode and managed 3 Lanes, 8 Mangroves and about 12 nice mingos to go with our ARS... It was really nice to take some local Guys on a productive 6 hour trip!

Navarre Beach Guide / South Again Charters / 1 September 2013

Had to work pretty hard today to get the results but it turned out to be a great day!! This is the 3rd time the Hendrix Family has fished with me and we seem to always have a great trip. Today we started out looking for some redfish but fell short. Back up plan was a great Flounder bite that I have been working.... once again, no dice.

We then went in search of the Spanish and got lucky and found a few schools that seemed to want to bite for us. We caught a nice box of keepers and a ton of shorts before we dicided to go finish the day on a few sharks.
We managed to catch 3 small Atlantic Sharpnoses and one giant surprise! While waiting for a shark bite we hooked a giant, after chasing it down and landing it... It ended up being a 15llb REd Snapper!!

Awesome explanation point to another great day on the water. Thanks again Guys for fishing with me again and I can't wait till next time

Pensacola Ishore Fishing / South Again Charters / 8 August 2013

Awesome 4 hour trip today!! The ray Gang has been fishing with me for a few years now and we always have a great time together. Today was no exception... We got a late start and I was actually afraid that we were gonna be abit behind the bite.

We started out finding boats on all of the spots I wanted to fish so we started some where I havent checked in a while. We caught a few Mangrove Snapper and moved on. After bouning around the Bay for a little while we managed to put a really nice box of fish together... and were lucky enough to get a call from a good Friend about a hot Spanish Bite. After a quick run and some hot action we had 6 really nice Spanish to add to the box.

All in all another great trip and I thank you Guys for coming back to fish with me again. Hope to see you again next year!

Navarre Beach Fishing Report | South Again Charters | 23 July 2013

What a fun day... Today My good Friend Tyler Manning of Flat Out Inshore Charters and I ran a two boat trip with two great Famalies... With 4 hours on the clock we started out looking for Redfish and Trout, we managed to catch 3 slot reds and 3 Bull Reds and even caught a really noce trout. After that we went into production mode and starting hammering on the Black Snapper. I lost count of the Snapper af ter a while but know we pulled in a steady stream of both keeper and undersized Black Snapper for 2 hours!! Thanks Guys for using us and hope to see you Guys again

Pensacola Summer Fishing / 17, 18. 19 July 2013 / South Again Charters

Sorry for the lack of reports. I have been very busy and have not taken the time to report. the last few days have been pretty windy so I have had to fish a little differently. We have been doing really well on the Mangrove Snapper and have been seeing more REdfish and Black Drum startin gto bite as well. Booked solid for the next few weeks so llok forward to more pics and reports!

To say I have it pretty good would be an understatement!! I get to follow my dream and I get to spend my days on the water with some pretty awesome people! Today I was joined by a few of my favorite Ladies for a 6 hour Snapper trip. With the seas a little bumpy first thing we decided to stay in the Bay and finish out the 2013 Red Snapper season with a lmit from the Bay. We accomplished our goal of 8 Red Snapper by 10:30 and went on to try and catch a Grouper.

We managed a few short grouper, a short cobia and several other species but no Grouper. Back at the marina by noon.. another great day. Thank you Hallie for bringing another great group of Women onboard and I can't wait till August!!!

Pensacola Beach Fish / South Again Charters

Great morning trip with some really nice Snapper! Today the Cole Group joined me for a quick 4 hour snapper trip. We ran for a while looking for the right spot, but once we located it...it was on!! We had a really nice grade of Snapper including a 14llb, a 12lb and a few other really nice ones! Throw in a Gag Grouper and you have a great 4 hours of fishing! Thanks for fishing with me Guys and I hope to see you again soon!


I wish the afternoon bite would have been as good... Local angler and Fishing Forum Member Torrey Island Kid joined me for a 4 hour afternoon trip. With big hopes we ran stright offshore and hoped to catch a few giant Snapper. We could only seem to manage a few smaller keepers. We decided to cut our losses and head back in and try to hook a few Flounder. We had a good tide but only boated one Flounder. It was a fun trip, just not the most productive!

Fish Pensacola Beach / South Again Charters / 11 July 2013

Wet and Windy today and the Gulf was way to rough for us to attempt an offshore trip so we stayed in the Bay today were able to grind out a nice box of fish! We also caught and released 3 undersize Grouper and about 10 more snapper that were just a hair shy of the limit!! Add a very acrobatic Spinner shark in to the mix and you have the makings of a pretty good day in the Bay. thanks again Guys for coming back to see me this year and I hope to see you again in 201!

Man Oh Man, did it feel good to be back on the water this morning. After several days of heavy rains and high seas it is good to be back. After losing a few days of work and not getting to fish with some of my favorite people I am glad the fish copperated today. We fished for a quick 4 hours and spent alot of time dodging storms but the spots we hit in the Bay all seemed on fire! We lost alot more fish than we caught today but had a blast doing it! Thanks guys for fishing with me and I hope to see you again soon!

Tough day today.. the current in the Gulf was running about 600 mph out of the West but the Yonker Men and I stuck to our guns and caught a nice limit of Snapper. No Groupers today but tomorrow is another day!

Warrior Challenge / South Again Charters / 30 June 2013

Amazing trip today! As some of you may know, last year I ran the Pensacola Marathon(26.2 miles) while wearing a 50lb ruck sack and military boots. I ran the marathon to raise money and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project.

I had no intentions of running it again... until a few of my Ranger Buddies heard about the effort and wanted to take part. Mike Hack and Gerald Nelson are the two Rangers that wanted to pursue the effort again this year and volunteered their time and bodies to the cause as well. Today Mike, Gerry and our amazing Marketing Director Hallie Burnett joined Dawna and I on a quick trip to catch a few snapper and discuss a few ideas about how to raise more money this year!

Great day on the water with some great Friends and a pretty good fishing trip as well!

Sorry for the quick report but todays double wore me out!! Joined this morning by the Askew Men for a 6 hour inshore. We caught a ton of fish and ended up with a nice box of fish! AThe afternoon trip the Marshall Family joined me for a 4 hour inshore trip and we managed a really nice limit of Bay Red Snapper and a few sharks and Grouper as a bonus!

Another flat, hot day on the Gulf and more beautiful great Snapper fishing. Today the Flowers gagng and I headed offshore, I decided to go a different direction than I have been fishing most of the year and it payed off really well. We caught tons of nice Snapper today. Amberjack on light tackle, Mangrove Snapper, Mingo Snapper and LAnes. We also lost a couple giant Snapper that we hooked up near the surface but just couldn't get em turned. Thanks again Guys for fishing with me and I will see you again next year.
