After a little lull in charters and some bad weather it felt GREAT to be back on the water today! The Bradshaw Group was in town for a conference and were ready for some fun. We loaded up around 1pm and headed towards the Pass.
I was afraid the Gulf was gonna be a little to snotty with the stiff WSW blowing but it was easily fishable. After catching a few baits we set off for an area that has been doing well so far this year for Kings! First bait was in the water 12 minutes and we were on. That remained the theme for the duration of the trip. We boated 3 Kings near 20lbs and lost three more boatside and landed several nice Spanish before it started to get nasty. We stopped back in the bay and managed to catch a dozen or so Bay Snapper a Flounder and got worked by a nice Bull Red! The fishing is amazing right now and should only get better as the Months get warmer! ...................... See you out there
