Pensacola Beach fishing

Another beautiful day fishing in Pensacola! Today I was joined by the Penney gang and Redfish were our target. We started out catching a couple reds in the Pass and a few nice Red Snapper before we ran back to the middle of the Bay to locate the large Schools.

The fish have been popping later in the day so we were in no big hurry. Once we made it back to the main bay we quickly located a school and within seconds had our first quadruple hook up of the trip!

We caught and released Reds for about an hour and a half before the schools sounded and never resurfaced. Today was as beautiful as it gets. Thanks to the Penney Gang for fishing with me today and I hope to see you Guys again really soon.

.................... See you out there

Navarre Beach Redfish

A beautiful day today! The weather was perfect but the bite seemed a bit off today. We managed to catch a half dozen or so Reds in the Pass and a few White Trout on the bridge but the reports I got said that the big schools didnt pop till around 2-2:30 this afternoon.

All in all still a great trip with some wonderful Guys!

....... See you out there

Perdido Key Spring Break Fishing

January and finally cold again!! The fish didnt seem to mind so neither did we! The morning started out like it was gonna be amazing. We rounded the corner at Deer point and the birds were working. In the first 10 minutes of our trip we had a triple hook up and life was good.

The next two hours were not so good. I tried every trick in the book form the Pass to Grand Lagoon to docks and rocks. Nothing seemed to be working for me. Luckily while making my fourth excuse for the lack of action the Bay came alive again and the bulls were everywhere!

We had a steady stream of double and triple hookups for nearly the next three hours. I actually lost count of how many bulls we released!! With a little time left on the clock we made a run to 3 mile and put about 25-30 white trout in the box and called it a day!

Today was a trying day for sure but mother nature decided to cooperate and let us have some fun! Thank you very much to the Cavnar Family for spending the day with me and I hope to see yo Guys again soon!

Navarre Beach Redfish

Will it ever get warm again? Today we decided to wait till Noon to launch in hopes that the winds would lay down later in the day. That was a bit optimistic I guess, the winds were still howling out of the North when we launched. After a wet and bumpy ride across the bay we started drifting the Pass.

The bite was really steady from the time we started till the time we left. We caught several nice bull reds and a few really nice Red Snapper, one which weighed right at 16lbs on the boga. That fish was caught on a Sahara 3000 and 10 lb braid!!

Another great day on the water with some really fun Guys!
