Last couple days have been very fun.. The Spanish Mackerel have shown up finally and are THICK... We are catching them on Pompano jigs on light tackle. Fishing is still good here in Pensacola

Perdido Key Fishing | South Again Charters | 24 July 2013

What a fun day. With the winds out of the West at 20 this morning I had a feeling it was going to be a shorter trip than planned. But I had a group of Guys who came to fish.. and the fish seemed to want to cooperate.

total catch today was alot more ompressive then the final count. We caught a total of 6 Redfish, 4 Flounder and around 25 Black Snapper. It was too bad that so many were just barely inersized or we would have had a banner day!

Either way, I had a great trip and even learned a new trick or two today! Thanks Guys for fishing with me and we'll see you next year!

Navarre Beach Fishing Report | South Again Charters | 23 July 2013

What a fun day... Today My good Friend Tyler Manning of Flat Out Inshore Charters and I ran a two boat trip with two great Famalies... With 4 hours on the clock we started out looking for Redfish and Trout, we managed to catch 3 slot reds and 3 Bull Reds and even caught a really noce trout. After that we went into production mode and starting hammering on the Black Snapper. I lost count of the Snapper af ter a while but know we pulled in a steady stream of both keeper and undersized Black Snapper for 2 hours!! Thanks Guys for using us and hope to see you Guys again

Navarre Beach Fishing Report | South Again Charters | 22 July 2013

It seems like this weather is just not gonna give us a break...ever!!! Again today we fought severe thunderstorms and some pretty stiff winds but still managed to put together a good box of fish. We are finding a great Black Snaooer bite on tons of inshore structure and a nice Redfish thrown in here and there! Thanks again to the Lear Men for fishing with me and I look forward to seeing you Guys again.

Perdido Key Inshore Charter / 21 July 2013 / South Again Charters

We are still battling windy and rainy conditions here is Pensacola, but if you change up your game a little bit there are still some great fish to be caught. Today the Garcia Men joined me for a quick 4 hour trip, we quickly started catching fish and caught fish almost everywhere we stopped. Very fun day with another great Family!

Pensacola Summer Fishing / 17, 18. 19 July 2013 / South Again Charters

Sorry for the lack of reports. I have been very busy and have not taken the time to report. the last few days have been pretty windy so I have had to fish a little differently. We have been doing really well on the Mangrove Snapper and have been seeing more REdfish and Black Drum startin gto bite as well. Booked solid for the next few weeks so llok forward to more pics and reports!

To say I have it pretty good would be an understatement!! I get to follow my dream and I get to spend my days on the water with some pretty awesome people! Today I was joined by a few of my favorite Ladies for a 6 hour Snapper trip. With the seas a little bumpy first thing we decided to stay in the Bay and finish out the 2013 Red Snapper season with a lmit from the Bay. We accomplished our goal of 8 Red Snapper by 10:30 and went on to try and catch a Grouper.

We managed a few short grouper, a short cobia and several other species but no Grouper. Back at the marina by noon.. another great day. Thank you Hallie for bringing another great group of Women onboard and I can't wait till August!!!

What an amazingly beautiful day today!! I just wish the fish would have known how pretty it was...To say we struggled today is an understatement. Although it was a slow and tough day we did manage to catch a respectable limit of Red Snapper, several small Amberjack, a handful of Mingos and a giant Shark. Looking back, maybe it wasn't THAT slow of a day after all!

Pensacola Beach Fish / South Again Charters

Great morning trip with some really nice Snapper! Today the Cole Group joined me for a quick 4 hour snapper trip. We ran for a while looking for the right spot, but once we located it...it was on!! We had a really nice grade of Snapper including a 14llb, a 12lb and a few other really nice ones! Throw in a Gag Grouper and you have a great 4 hours of fishing! Thanks for fishing with me Guys and I hope to see you again soon!


I wish the afternoon bite would have been as good... Local angler and Fishing Forum Member Torrey Island Kid joined me for a 4 hour afternoon trip. With big hopes we ran stright offshore and hoped to catch a few giant Snapper. We could only seem to manage a few smaller keepers. We decided to cut our losses and head back in and try to hook a few Flounder. We had a good tide but only boated one Flounder. It was a fun trip, just not the most productive!

Fish Pensacola Beach / South Again Charters / 11 July 2013

Wet and Windy today and the Gulf was way to rough for us to attempt an offshore trip so we stayed in the Bay today were able to grind out a nice box of fish! We also caught and released 3 undersize Grouper and about 10 more snapper that were just a hair shy of the limit!! Add a very acrobatic Spinner shark in to the mix and you have the makings of a pretty good day in the Bay. thanks again Guys for coming back to see me this year and I hope to see you again in 201!

Another great day on the water with the Burnett Clan!! Today we headed ofhsore in search of some big Red Snapper. We were lucky enough to find em chewing... Man Oh Man, did it feel good to be back on the water this morning. After several days of heavy rains and high seas it is good to be back. After losing a few days of work and not getting to fish with some of my favorite people I am glad the fish copperated today. We fished for a quick 4 hours and spent alot of time dodging storms but the spots we hit in the Bay all seemed on fire! We lost alot more fish than we caught today but had a blast doing it! Thanks guys for fishing with me and I hope to see you again soon!

Tough day today.. the current in the Gulf was running about 600 mph out of the West but the Yonker Men and I stuck to our guns and caught a nice limit of Snapper. No Groupers today but tomorrow is another day!
