Perdido Key Spring Break Fishing

January and finally cold again!! The fish didnt seem to mind so neither did we! The morning started out like it was gonna be amazing. We rounded the corner at Deer point and the birds were working. In the first 10 minutes of our trip we had a triple hook up and life was good.

The next two hours were not so good. I tried every trick in the book form the Pass to Grand Lagoon to docks and rocks. Nothing seemed to be working for me. Luckily while making my fourth excuse for the lack of action the Bay came alive again and the bulls were everywhere!

We had a steady stream of double and triple hookups for nearly the next three hours. I actually lost count of how many bulls we released!! With a little time left on the clock we made a run to 3 mile and put about 25-30 white trout in the box and called it a day!

Today was a trying day for sure but mother nature decided to cooperate and let us have some fun! Thank you very much to the Cavnar Family for spending the day with me and I hope to see yo Guys again soon!

........................ See you out there
