6 April 2013 / Pensacola Fishing Charter
Amazing trip this morning with the Marenette Family. We started out hoping to catch a few sheepehead and make a nice box of fish. We quickly started landing sheepies and in no time had a box full of fish.
We decided to ease out in the Gulf and look for Redfish and happened up on a giant school of Spanish. It was great to get back on some Mackerel! We were using pompano jigs for the macks and they were hitting them really aggresively!
Thank you very much to Joe and his wonderful Family for spending the day with me and........ The title of "quirky" seems to have stuck!!
This afternoon we had to work a little harder for our fish. The Spanish were still around but were not near as thick as they were in the morning. But we were able to fish the Pass hard and come up with a really nice box of Sheepshead.
Live Shrimp and sand fleas were both working very good this afternoon! Thank you Mr. Hensen for your business and I hope to see you Guys again in May!
...... See you out there
