Perdido Key Fishing / South Again Charters / 1 August 2013

The fishing has been great this week and I apologize again about the lack of reports... But here is a fun one from today.

Today I ran a two boat trip with the Camet Family and great Friend Capt. Brant Peacher of Angler Up Charters...

The plan was a quick 4 hour trip. down and dirty on the Spanish MAckerel. After hiding the 1st hour of the morning from a storm we finally made it to the fish. The fishing was hot and heavy for about 3 hours with as many fish being put back as were kept. The Spanish bite has been on fire all week and box loads of fish are super easy right now. While trying to catch a few Mangrove Snapper to finish off the trip the next wave of storms caught us and we had to haul tail back to Galvez LAnding.. It rained on us the entire way back, after safetly docking and getting the Camet Family out of the weather Brant and I went into fillet mode.

Sorry no pics with our anglers today as they were hiding from the Lightning while we cleaned, but I did manage to get a great pic of Brant..LOL

See you out there
